Your information is used to: create and manage your account, show you relevant matches, enable messaging with connections, process payments, verify your identity, improve our matching algorithm, and send you notifications about matches and messages. We follow Islamic principles of privacy and modesty in all data handling.
We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information is visible to other users based on your privacy settings. Contact details (phone, email, WhatsApp) are only shared with mutual consent between matched users. We may share data with service providers (payment processors, cloud hosting) who help us operate the platform.
You can choose to blur your photos for non-matched users. Photo sharing in chat requires mutual consent from both parties. We scan uploaded photos for inappropriate content to maintain a respectful environment aligned with Islamic values.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit. Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We conduct regular security reviews to protect your information.
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format, withdraw consent for data processing, and object to automated decision-making. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we permanently remove your profile, photos, messages, and personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

DateKhaas is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will immediately delete it.
